1. How Do You Find Creativity?
May 3, 2021
Creativity isn’t just putting two or more things together- mindfully or mindlessly! Creativity is an alignment of what and how you want to “think,” plus your actions. I found my creative voice or creativity by being available to my flaws, that needed a little creative inspiration to feel the power again. Also, when I started appreciating my life more than anything else, when I completely stopped comparing myself to others. When I started creatively turning every situations into opportunities.
When you start paying attention to your inner voice, you know what you’re craving for! You get to know your deep desires and important essential “elements” of your identity, that are missing from your life.
“Creativity isn’t what I see outside, but it is what I feel inside, and therefore I find ways to express it in unique different “languages”!” ~Epsita-The Positive Window
When I started feeling confident about my creative strengths, it got easier for me to create those personalized shifts in everything I did next, like; finding my positive thinking attitude, creating my signature styles, feeling confident, performing better in my job/career, creating healthy relationships, tending to my body, mind, and soul’s needs, etc.
Check for the signs when you’re naturally drawn towards something. That’s your creative calling. Find your whys?
When we get caught up in adulting and stop imagining and playing, we tangle our life either by just working or worrying. I wanted to break free again from all these hustles of life, only to create again! I always knew that, I had that creative desire that was keeping me awake and hungry for more. All I had to do was nudge it awake after many dormant years.
I did just that, followed my passion for writing and art.
You know what, I had just found a medium to express my heart, my thoughts, my stories, and about soo many things, big and small that make me.
I hope you find your “creativity” too! Look for the signs that bring you pure joy and that helps you to connect with yourself. Try to pay attention to what you’re seeking just by being, and not by doing. When you can detach yourself from this hypercompetitive world, to connect with your own source of original thought and creativity, you will know that- you have found your creativity, your purpose of creating; whatever you’re planning to create next!
