Life will never be the same it was!
It will never be the same we used to travel.
It will never be the same we used to party, or attend events, and social gatherings!
Nothing will be same again!
Everything has changed. We’ve moved to a “new normal” life. But how are we going to re-align our life and accept this new ordinary? How it will look the “other side”? These contemplations are and will, help us find our old ways that has been converted into our new way of life by the novel coronavirus.
Now that coronavirus is sweeping the globe as a pandemic, we’re all afraid of our health and our loved ones! And everyone everywhere are forced to follow social distancing rules, and to keep themselves isolated but safe. Isolation is taxing our mental health and our ability to keep negative emotions at check is at threat. Keeping one’s sanity is seemingly impossible at this point of time.
Feelings of loneliness and anxiety in isolation is paralyzing our ability to stay hopeful and calm.
Even though we have started emerging from our houses, we’re seemingly so confused as how to navigate through this new world, where maintaining distance from others looks more important than keeping our focus on the roads we’re walking towards!
The idea of transitioning back to the society’s normal day life is kind of a big concern now! Now that we’ve started emerging from our cooped up indoor lives, the biggest challenge is how are we going to interact with one another while social distancing ourselves and how shall we adjust to everything else while still holding on to the fears of getting infected by the novel coronavirus?
And traveling seems to be a distant reality! Even before we plan any travels now, it is important is to learn about the safety tips first! It’s been more than three months now, we haven’t been to any stores for shopping except for the grocery and essentials. And at this point, we’re not even sure how to accept this new normal life?
I’ve found a way out to calm myself down; and that is to just Breathe and Accept!
But I’m sure we will discover new light and everything will look easier and acceptable again! We humans have got the skills to adapt to the changes! But until then, let’s start taking it slow. Let us begin by taking one-day-at-a-time and just accepting our days as they unfold.
We must remember that this sudden change brought to our lives by the coronavirus emergency is also causing lot of anxiety and grief in many of our lives. But don’t let the fear paralyze you in any way! There’s always hope and light at the end.
I want you to pause here; as I want to know, “what are you doing to best live your days through this negativity of pandemic fears and chaos?”
If you haven’t found the answer yet, then please! I would encourage you to find the reasons that can save your sanity and can help you restore your faith and hope!
For me : “I see this quarantine or lockdown as an opportunity to pause, relax, reflect, and to strengthen some of my core values!”
And I’m working hard to fill my days [and my kids’ days] more productively, even though anxiety and fear of uncertainty pops up every now and then! All I want to do is to just “slow down.” Spend each day of my life more mindfully and peacefully with my family. I want to reach out to friends, neighbors, and every person I know here to take advice, ask for some tips, and suggestions to help me ease my fears of going out with kids. I hope we all find the balance to our “new normal” while following all the necessary rules like; wearing a mask outside and in all public places, maintaining sufficient distancing with others, etc.
